SR500 madness

The SR500 motorcycle is a single cylinder bike born from dirt bikes and made for the street. We are lucky enough to be building a very cool one with a customer that should blend these lines nicely.

1978 CB550 period Cafe’

We were contracted to build a period looking CB550 Cafe’ bike with an impressive amount of nice and new old stock parts. As the build progressed, we decided to build what it may looked like if Yoshimura had built it in the late 70’s. After a ton of work, and a whole lot of fun, we and the customer were very pleased with the result!

From XJ to Cafe’

With dual over head cams and Yamaha’s YICS cylinder head flow system, this little 550 was a screamer back in its day. 2 Topia is excited about this project. Rare for these bikes, everything was found intact with OEM equipment. It has been sold as a complete cafe project, so stay tuned for pics of the progress!

Kawasaki ZRX1200R

Kawasaki’s zrx1200r was based on a tribute bike for racing legend Eddie Lawson. Built from 2001 to 2008, it is meant to represent the pinnacle of the classic Universal Japanese Motorcycle, or UJM. With easily over 100 hp, a modernized twin rear shock design, and light and nimble handling, it has created a cult following….this one came in for some jetting and some new front discs and pads. Look for more from this bike at 2Topia Cycles!

One of our favorites, the CB550 is a solid performer and very reliable, this one is in need of a top end reseal, and it was discovered that it had never been opened up since rolling off the assembly line floor in 1975!
